Rev. Yintong was born in Tainan City, Taiwan Province.
In 2014, she was ordained as a monastic by Dharma Master Jie-Jing of the Buddhist Association of Colorado, the Denver Temple, receiving the Dharma name Yintong Shi.
From 2018 to the end of 2023, she pursued her studies in the Department of Philosophy at the School of Humanities, Tsinghua University, in Beijing.
In early 2024, she earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation titled " Buddhist ideology on śūnyatā in Northern Dynasties".
Currently, she serves as the Secretary of the Buddhist Association of Colorado, the Monastic Director of Denver Temple, and regularly teaches online Buddhist courses.
